Join fellow guests of the Holistic Holiday at Sea, plus local Physicians Committee members, for an upbeat evening of connection, conversation, and celebration—all while supporting the lifesaving work of the Physicians Committee.

Hear from Dr. Neal Barnard, founder and president of the Physicians Committee, as he shares recent victories and exciting updates on our mission to end animal experimentation and put more whole food, plant-based meals on plates everywhere.

You’ll also enjoy a lively mini-episode conversation with Chuck Carroll, host of hit podcast The Exam Room, and Dr. Garth Davis, board-certified bariatric surgeon and obesity medicine specialist based in Houston.

We’re leaning all the way into the country-western energy of Houston with a one-of-a-kind line dancing experience—including Dr. Barnard himself.

This optional pre-event class will be led by a professional local instructor, with Dr. Barnard joining you every (dance) step of the way. No experience needed—just bring your sense of play and your favorite boots (or comfy sneakers) for an unforgettable add-on to the evening.

There are several restaurants with vegan options within walking distance (or a short cab ride) if you’d like to grab dinner and keep the celebration going after the event. Please note the citywide event detailed below in travel tips.

Event Ticket: $100

Includes admission to the event, vegan hors d’oeuvres, mocktails, and featured presentations.

VIP Line Dancing Experience: $125

Includes line dancing instruction (4:30-5 p.m.), a special refreshing mocktail, and admission to the main event.

*Only guests with VIP tickets will be admitted to the line dancing portion. Dance instruction begins promptly at 4:30 p.m.

Important Travel Tips:

Please note that a very large citywide event is taking place this weekend. This may affect hotel availability, traffic, parking, restaurant and retail lines, and rideshare wait times. We strongly recommend allowing extra time to travel to and from the venue.

For Cruise Passenger Attendees

Based on current availability, many attendees are choosing to stay near the airport, where hotel options are more plentiful (and economical). From there, rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft can be used to travel to and from the event. 

For Local Houston Attendees 

Henke & Pillot is located downtown (just off Market Square Park), with several parking garages within walking distance of the venue. But due to increased demand that weekend, we highly recommend reserving parking in advance using the SpotHero app, which allows you to secure a parking spot ahead of time (including options in nearby garages).
