Noel Plutto is not your typical Food for Life instructor. With her undergraduate degree in chemical engineering and spending most of her career in the chemical industry, she started her journey to a vegan lifestyle in an unusual way. “I read the book Skinny Bitch and stopped eating meat the next day.” Then her father suffered a heart attack. “My dad was active, a healthy weight, cholesterol under 150, and he still had a heart attack. I knew the missing link was diet.” Noel loves to teach, and her passion for health is contagious when you join her at her plant-based cooking classes, which focus on optimal health, cancer prevention, diabetes, and weight loss.
