Lisa Dahlmeier has always enjoyed cooking and teaching others, but it wasn’t until after recovering from a stem cell transplant for recurrent non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma that she decided to use her pots, pans, and passion to fight cancer. Joining the Cancer Project’s mission of education and cancer prevention, Lisa readily identifies with the realities of cancer and delights in assisting others regain control over their health.
Lisa’s company, Planted For Life, provides continued education and consulting for those living with cancer. Today she is thrilled to be in her 6th year of remission and has a compassionate heart to serve others. She currently teaches the Food for Life nutrition and cooking classes throughout the Twin Cities metro area.
