LaQuita Marie Staten

LaQuita Marie Staten has been a nurse for over 25 years and has had a passion for food even longer. As a home chef, LaQuita Marie has over 30 years of culinary experience with omnivore foods and lots of food science research under her belt. In May 2020, LaQuita Marie transitioned her family to a plant based lifestyle to reverse her husband's diabetes and improve the health legacy of their 3 young daughters.

As creative genius and co-host of "Blind Guy, His Wife, Their Life Live,” a weekly broadcast that she hosts with her husband on YouTube, LaQuita Marie's Plant Based Treats are featured. The 2-minute video recipes feature familiar foods plus their beneficial nutritional facts.

She is a professional public speaker and artistic director of a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, Atumpan Edutainment (AE). AE educates, entertains, and trains using the art of storytelling for inclusion and community development.
