Denise Kling-Pelto

After retiring from teaching high school, Denise made a commitment to learn more about plant-based nutrition. Her husband reversed his heart disease with a whole-food, plant-based diet, so Denise knew she had to do more. She completed a holistic nutrition certification, Colin Campbell’s Plant Based Nutrition and Heart Healthy Program, and became a vegan chef through the Natural Kitchen Cooking School. Denise is the culinary curator for Plant-Based Nutrition Support Group and teaches food science and health at Irene’s School of Myomassology. The Food for Life program will launch her career helping students, community, friends, and family. Denise's mission: Move others to a whole-food, plant-based lifestyle through modeling, teaching, cooking, and supplying support to those sick of being sick on the Standard American Diet.
