Vanita Rahman, MD, and Karen Smith, RD, will lead 12 weekly classes and discuss how simple dietary changes can significantly decrease the frequency and severity of hot flashes. Participants will receive valuable health and nutrition education, practical tips, cooking demonstrations, a digital scale, cookbooks, and more!

Frequently Asked Questions 

How will the online program work? 

We will meet weekly via Zoom from 6:45 – 8pm ET. The classes will include checking in, instructional topics, cooking demonstrations, special guests, and plenty of time to ask questions. 

What if I am unable to attend all 12 sessions? Are the sessions recorded? 

To protect the privacy of all participants and to foster real-time engagement, we encourage you to attend all 12 sessions so that you derive the greatest benefit from the program. However, we do understand that at times you may have to miss a class. If you miss a class, we will do our best to accommodate you. We will provide you with the presentation materials from the missed session and answer any questions. However, classes are not recorded and will not be available to view on demand.  

Will there be a class on Thanksgiving Day? 

There will be a one week break from class over Thanksgiving, with classes restarting the week after Thanksgiving on December 1. 

What is your refund policy, and can I pay in installments? 

We are currently only accepting single payments. We do not offer refunds for cancellations or missed classes. 

Can I get handouts for the program or classes?  

We will provide a resource portal where you can download class handouts and other helpful resources.
