Geraldine H. Adams, RN, MS, CDE

Certified Diabetes Educator and Nurse Specialist

Geraldine H. Adams, R.N., M.S., C.D.E., is a certified diabetes educator and nurse specialist. Her passion is educating others about sustaining and improving health. She adopted a plant-based diet for her health 10 years ago and advocates for a plant-based diet to prevent and treat diabetes.

Most recently, Ms. Adams directed the diabetes education program at Holy Cross Hospital. She has also worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, clinics, and community education.

Ms. Adams is a graduate of Syracuse University School of Nursing and earned her master’s degree in rehabilitation nursing at Boston University. She received a certificate in wound, ostomy, and continence nursing from Emory University and practiced as a nurse specialist in this field for more than 20 years.

In addition to practicing in diabetes care, Ms. Adams enjoys swimming, gardening, and travel.
