Class 5: Foods and Breast Cancer Survival – Fueling Up on Low-Fat, High-Fiber Foods
This class explores how a diet rich in fiber and naturally low in fat plays a powerful role in improving breast cancer outcomes and supporting long-term emotional and physical health. We’ll highlight the science behind how plant-based foods help eliminate excess hormones, support gut and immune function, and reduce inflammation — all factors linked to breast cancer survival and mental wellbeing.

Participants will:

  • Discover how high-fiber, whole plant foods assist in hormone balance and toxin elimination
  • Understand how low-fat eating can support better survival outcomes after a breast cancer diagnosis
  • Watch a cooking demonstration featuring practical, affordable, and fiber-rich meals
  • Sample dishes such as Homestyle Squash and Pinto Beans, Broccoli with Sesame Salt, and a Mixed Berry Banana Smoothie

Backed by the WHEL Study and other key research, this session gives healthcare professionals the tools to confidently discuss how dietary fiber and low-fat foods contribute to both cancer recovery and improved emotional resilience.
