Fueling Up On Low-Fat, High-Fiber Foods
Thursday, October 16, 2025 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm

This class will bring into focus the undeniable connection between diet and cancer risk.  Based on the Physicians Committee’s groundbreaking Cancer Project curriculum, this class will focus on the role of different foods and nutrients in either promoting or discouraging growth of different cancers, including breast cancer.   It will feature nutritional information, educational videos and a cooking demonstration.  You will be able to try 3 different, delicious, and health-promoting dishes.  Also included are recipes, handouts and resources for improving the diet.  The intended audience for this class is anyone looking to prevent breast cancer and for cancer survivors and their family and friends. These classes are not intended for individuals currently undergoing breast cancer treatment.
