Lisa Buchmeier is a Food For Life Instructor and certified Plant Based Nutrition Educator. Her health journey began when her husband faced premature coronary artery disease, inspiring them to embrace a Whole Foods Plant-Based lifestyle.  Lisa's culinary expertise became a catalyst for positive change as she crafted simple, delicious, healing dishes, showcasing the power of "food as medicine." Witnessing her husband's heart disease reversal, Lisa experienced increased energy and a profound shift in her relationship with food and weight. Her journey also highlighted the potential for nutritional healing, with lifelong joint pain and allergies disappearing.

Driven by her commitment to service, education, and health, Lisa specializes in teaching Food For Life classes for families, groups, and corporate employees. She is dedicated to sharing the benefits of plant-based eating, particularly with underserved communities and nonprofit organizations.
