Red Meat Increases Risk for Colorectal Cancer Among Black Women

Red meat consumption increases the risk for colorectal cancer among Black women, according to a study published in the Journal of Nutrition. Food questionnaires from over 50,000 participants in the Black Women's Health Study showed a 33% increased risk for late-onset colorectal cancer for every 100 grams (3.5 ounces) of red meat eaten per day.
