Plant-Based Advocates empowers community members to take grassroots action while working to accelerate the shift to a plant-based diet. As a community-based non-profit in the San Francisco Bay Area, we educate people about living more sustainably by adopting a plant-based dietary lifestyle.If you are veg-curious, already on the plant-based journey, or care about your health, the environment, and animals, come join us. Meaningful experiences await.
About Our Events
Our volunteer organizers show up in local communities to: (1) host documentary screenings and discussions, (2) partner with school districts to add plant-based milk options, (3) do educational outreach at festivals and community gatherings, (4) meet with government officials to add plant-based options to food menus, (5) publish informative newspaper articles, (6) distribute plant-based meals to those in need, and (7) present informative lectures and cooking demonstrations.
