JAMCC, founded in 2019, focuses on helping orphaned children and providing hope for those suffering from diseases in Kyotera District, Uganda, where HIV/AIDS first emerged. Our vision is to create a disease-free environment and promote hope through plant-based diets, emphasizing that food can be medicine. Our vision is "Healing ourselves and the planet through a plant-based diet and positive environmental measures." We welcome everyone to learn and transition to improved health and well-being. Our activities are inclusive, respecting cultural differences, sexual orientation, and more.
We host events like potlucks, vegan food sampling, film nights, permaculture garden demonstrations, diabetes testing, and follow-ups for patients transitioning to plant-based diets. Other activities include education on managing diseases through nutrition and hands-on learning opportunities.
