Food for Life is a global leader in plant-based nutrition and cooking education for disease prevention and survival. It is a small business franchise program for individuals and institutions to deliver nutrition and cooking classes directly to their communities around the world.

Certification to teach the Food for Life program offers an excellent small business opportunity for anyone who is enthusiastic about health, wellness, and disease prevention and wants to share their passion with their community.

The certification can also be used by organizations with a nutrition or health focus looking for an established and credible plant-based nutrition education program to offer their customers or employees.

Course Content

A 20 credit hour continuing education training program to teach the award winning Food for Life cancer, diabetes, weight management, employee wellness, and kids’ plant-based nutrition education and cooking classes.

This program has been approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration for 20.0 Continuing Professional Education Units (CPEU).

This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Virginia Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
