Think Pink, Eat Green to Lower Your Risk for Breast Cancer!

Learn how to take back control of your breast health naturally. Every 2 minutes a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States. Let that sink in...

Why Think Pink? October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, created to raise awareness for breast cancer prevention and treatment. Fifty years ago the United States declared a “war on cancer” but statistics are trending in the wrong direction with 1 in 8 women projected to develop breast cancer in their lifetime. It’s time to learn how to take back control of our breast health. The good news is that it’s not just the toss of the dice or genetics that determines the risk of developing breast cancer. Lifestyle choices and a healthy diet go a long way in the prevention of and recovery from breast cancer. Research has shown that more than one-third of all cancer deaths in the United States are due to poor diet, yet most people are unaware of the connection. In this class, you will learn about the right food choices that can help reduce the risk of
developing cancer as well as preventing a recurrence.

Why Eat Green? Plant-based food is associated with a lower risk of developing and dying from breast cancer. Eating a low-fat diet rich in fruits, vegetables, grains, and beans—while avoiding meat, dairy, and fatty animal products promotes breast health.

This class includes an informative video, the opportunity to connect and ask questions, and a live food demo with yummy samples!

Come for the information, the food, and sisterhood. Bring a friend or loved one and learn how to take good care of your tatas! (Recipes are gluten-free.)
