Foods for a Healthy Heart is the perfect introductory plant-based nutrition and cooking class for anyone who would like to learn how to prepare wholesome plant-based meals for maximum health benefit. The course requires no previous knowledge of vegan cooking and is suitable for beginners.
What?
This interactive course combines nutritional education with live cooking demonstrations so that you've got the technical know-why as well as the practical know-how.
This one-hour class includes a teaching video, discussion and live cooking demonstration. Participants will learn not only how to prepare some plant-based dishes, but also how a plant-based diet contributes to good heart health.
Foods for a Healthy Heart is part of the Food For Life programme which has been created by the Physicians Committee, a not-for-profit based in the United States which is supported by over 12,000 doctors who realise that one of the most powerful ways to promote health is through a plant-based diet.
