Power Foods for the Brain
Thursday, November 5, 2020 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM

Many people worry about cognitive decline as they age. In this class, you will learn strategies for maintaining memory and improving brain function including how to prepare brain health-promoting meals.

A decline in brain health is not an inevitable part of aging. Yet, how we eat and live can help us protect our memory and stay sharp into old age. Plant-based foods are beneficial to the brain and may help prevent Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

In this class, a short video segment featuring Dr. Neal Barnard explains some of the research that is the foundation for the plant-based approach. Afterwards, watch a demonstration of three easy, nutritious recipes that you can make at home. Plus, receive general guidelines on plant-based nutrition and ask your questions in a supportive environment.
