Once accepted, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the following at the training:

Certification to teach PCRM’s Food for Life class modules focused on healthful eating for cancer and diabetes prevention and survival, weight management, and children
-
Continuing education credits in the amount of 20 credit hours have been approved for nurses and dietitians
-
Nutrition research lectures by PCRM’s experts, including Neal Barnard, M.D., with the latest research on plant-based nutrition for disease prevention and survival
-
Tips and techniques presented by an accomplished Food for Life instructor on best practices for conducting classes
-
Live nutrition and cooking class presentation by a seasoned instructor
-
Premium quality cookware from Food for Life program sponsors, Vitamix (instructors and Educational Alliance Program partners) and Saladmaster (instructors only) to teach classes
-
On-going support and resources from PCRM’s headquarters after the training
-
Complimentary breakfasts and lunches (exceptions noted in the agenda)
Earn Professional Education Credits
This program has been approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration for 20.0 Continuing Professional Education Units (CPEU).
This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Virginia Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. The VNA-CEA approval number is 11-09-05S for 20.0 contact hours of Continuing Nursing Education (CNE).

20 spaces are available at the trainings for individuals and institution representatives. Sponsors, Saladmaster and Vitamix, will also be present.
PCRM needs instructors in: San Francisco Bay area, New York City, Detroit, Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Seattle, Houston, Richmond, Denver, Idaho, Iowa, North and South Dakota, Tennessee, and Wyoming. We are accepting and reviewing all applications from all areas, including those not listed here.
