Action Alert: Help End Drug Experiments on Animals

Dear Dr.Volkow/Dr. Li,
I am deeply disturbed at the waste of taxpayers' money on cruel
animal experiments in drug and alcohol research. A wide range of
ethical methods has been developed for studying substance abuse
in humans that does not involve the torture and murder of innocent
animals—including the use of ethical human clinical trials,
genetic studies, treatment assessments, behavior modification trials,
and pathology studies. I demand that you stop funding the cruel
and unnecessary torture of thousands of innocent animals in drug
and alcohol studies and fund these more effective alternatives
exclusively.
