Get Virtual: Surgery Classes to Replace
Goats with Simulation
More
than 80 percent of all U.S. medical schools
have stopped using live animals to teach physiology
and surgery. We’re pleased to report
that the University of Texas in San Antonio
is moving in that direction as well. The surgery
department has decided to give up its use of
