Anthony Hopkins Promotes Healthy Diet in New TV Spot

Acclaimed actor Sir Anthony Hopkins recently donated his time to tape a powerful new public service announcement on the power of a healthy vegetarian diet to prevent and fight cancer.

The TV PSA, “Technology,” contrasts the developments in high-tech cancer detection and treatment with the relatively undiscovered power of healthy food. As Sir Anthony says, in his incomparably rich voice, “Today, doctors are talking about what might be the most important weapon of all: The food we eat.” Click here to watch the TV spot.

The spot also features four PCRM doctors: Neal Barnard, M.D., Aysha Akhtar, M.D., Daran Haber, M.D., and Carolina Amador, M.D.

The Cancer Project is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that advances cancer prevention and survival through nutrition education and research. The Cancer Project began in 1991 as a program of PCRM and became a separate affiliate in 2004.
