Sign up for media training, April 16 in D.C.

Over the years, many of you have expressed interest in media training. We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be hosting a free session on Saturday, April 16, in Washington, D.C. The training is being held in conjunction with our 20th anniversary gala that evening, but any PCRM member doctor is eligible to attend. We hope you’ll join us for both events.

The Art of the Sound Bite: How to Make the Media Work for You
9:30 a.m.-10:45 a.m.
Discover how the press works—and how to make it work for you—in this 75-minute seminar. Join PCRM communication department pros for an overview of techniques designed to help make you a top-notch media spokesperson. Learn how to craft and deliver your messages, take charge of an interview, and use op-eds and letters to the editor to educate the public. Open to PCRM member doctors. (If space is available, registered dietitians and other healthcare professionals may take part.)

Also please join us for free vegan cooking class and a exciting technology hall where exhibitors will demonstrate the latest in education and research tools that no longer use animals.

To RSVP for the media training, please contact Howard White at 202-686-2210, ext 339, or hwhite@pcrm.org. To read more about the gala and related events, please visit www.pcrm.org/gala.
