Sign up for media training, April 16 in D.C.
Over the years, many of you have expressed interest in media training.
We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be hosting a free
session on Saturday, April 16, in Washington, D.C. The training
is being held in conjunction with our 20th
anniversary gala that evening, but any PCRM member doctor is
eligible to attend. We hope you’ll join us for both events.
The Art of the Sound Bite: How to Make the Media Work for
You
9:30 a.m.-10:45 a.m.
Discover how the press works—and how to make it work for you—in
this 75-minute seminar. Join PCRM communication department pros
for an overview of techniques designed to help make you a top-notch
media spokesperson. Learn how to craft and deliver your messages,
take charge of an interview, and use op-eds and letters to the editor
to educate the public. Open to PCRM member doctors. (If space is
available, registered dietitians and other healthcare professionals
may take part.)
Also please join us for free vegan cooking class and a exciting
technology hall where exhibitors will demonstrate the latest in
education and research tools that no longer use animals.
