Alec Baldwin Promotes Vegetarian Diets for Kids
Alec Baldwin has teamed up with PCRM to offer parents some helpful
advice on kids’ nutrition. The actor, father, and longtime
vegetarian recently donated his time to narrate PCRM’s latest
public service announcement, “Kids
Get Healthy.”
The
spot explains that healthy diets can help tackle the epidemic childhood
obesity plaguing the nation. It stresses the importance of a diet
rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and other vegetarian
foods.
The PSA is airing on radio stations throughout the
country.
“Kids Get Healthy” is part of an ongoing PCRM campaign
on childhood obesity, which also features several TV public service
announcements and a free 16-page brochure. To order a copy of the
brochure, call 877-685-KIDS or visit http://www.KidsGetHealthy.org.
