Marilu Henner joins ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ for a chance to win $250,000 for PCRM!

This season, contestants will not be vying for a job with Donald Trump, but the business-savvy celebrity contestants will be working toward a greater goal—raising more than a million dollars for their various charities throughout the season. Not only will the final winner be crowned the first "Celebrity Apprentice," but he or she will also have the honor of delivering a $250,000 bonus check to their designated charity.
Longtime member Marilu Henner will be playing for PCRM and its separately incorporated affiliate The Cancer Project. Marilu has written 6 books on nutrition and eating for health. Her husband, who suffered from both bladder and lung cancer, credits the healthy diet Marilu prescribed for him with saving his life. MARILU HENNER

Marilu Henner, best known as a Broadway, TV and film actress, is also a full-time mom and author of "Marilu Henner's Total Health Makeover", "Marilu Henner's 30-Day Total Health Makeover,” "Healthy Life Kitchen,” "Healthy Kids,” "I Refuse To Raise A Brat,” and "Healthy Holidays."
Henner is a longtime PCRM member and over the years has generously lent her celebrity to many activities and events—most recently co-hosting PCRM’s 2007 Art of Compassion Gala with Alec Baldwin in Washington, DC.
Henner's entire life is a testimony to the power of her approach to health. That energy and her extraordinary talents as an actress were unleashed to rave reviews on Broadway as "Roxie Hart" in Chicago, across the country as "Annie" in the National Company of Annie Get Your Gun and most recently as "Lee" the sexy provocative stranger in The Tale of the Allergist's Wife. Henner started her professional acting career starring in the first national touring company of Grease, later appearing with the Broadway company. This was followed by Over Here, Pal Joey, and later in Social Security directed by Mike Nichols. Henner went on to appear in numerous television shows including "Taxi,” "Evening Shade" and eventually became executive producer and host of the "The Marilu Show."
Throughout her career Henner has gone on to produce and star in several television movies and feature films including "Blood Brothers" (with Richard Gere), "Between the Lines" (with Jeff Goldblum), "Hammett" (with Frederic Forrest) and "LA Story" (with Steve Martin).
Henner is mother of two boys, Nicholas and Joseph.
