Dana Armstrong R.D., C.D.E.
As a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator, Dana became a Food for Life instructor following a serious medical diagnosis which prompted her to change her diet. In private practice for more than 25 years, she has developed educational programs that have benefited more than 6,000 people with diabetes and specializes in a patient-centered approach to diabetes education and treatment. She brings the nutritional and healing benefits of a plant-based, healthy lifestyle to her program and inspires through passion, education, and amazing food. Dana received her degree in nutrition and dietetics from the University of California, Davis, and University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, and has a certificate in plant-based nutrition from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.
