Diabetes Educators’ Forum
Welcome to PCRM’s Diabetes Educators’ Forum. The forum is a 30-minute conference call that takes place on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month at 8 p.m. ET. This program gives diabetes educators the opportunity to discuss issues related to plant-based nutrition for diabetes. Each call features a 15-minute interview or a presentation by an expert in nutrition, followed by a Q-and-A session. Handouts, articles, and/or PowerPoint presentations will be posted here for your review prior to the program. Material from previous forums can be downloaded at the Diabetes Educators' Forum archive.
The program is hosted by Susan Levin, M.S., R.D., PCRM director of nutrition education, and Caroline Trapp, M.S.N., A.P.R.N., B.C.-ADM, C.D.E., PCRM director of diabetes education and care and diabetes nurse practitioner with Premier Internists, a division of the Millennium Medical Group, P.C. of Southfield, Mich.
Space is limited, so the Diabetes Educators’ Forum is only open to health care professionals who work with people with diabetes. If you are certified diabetes educator, or working towards certification and would like to join one of our calls, please RSVP to
lkoeppel @ pcrm.org. We will send you the instructions to call in and add you to the Diabetes Educators’ Forum e-mail list. (You will also receive e-mail reminders about the call.)
