Basic Brown Rice
(Makes 3 cups)
2 cups water
1 cup brown rice
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 strand kombu, or several strands wakame
Bring the water to boil, and add the brown rice and sea salt or
sea vegetable. Return to a boil, lower the heat to a gentle simmer,
cover, and cook for 45 minutes.
