Honorary CommitteeCindy Landon With 18 years of experience in the entertainment industry and TV syndication, Cindy Landon brings considerable expertise and many valuable contacts to her philanthropic work for international and local charitable organizations and community groups. She spends a significant amount of her time dedicated to supporting charitable organizations committed to children, the environment, animal welfare, and holistic health. Most recently, she was selected to co-chair and host the 25th Anniversary Gala for the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) in April 2010 in Malibu, Calif. Notable as well, is her involvement as president for the Michael and Cindy Landon Foundation, founding champion and advocate for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCan), honorary board member for Free Arts for Abused Children, co-chair and event host for Malibu Global Awareness benefiting Doctors Without Borders, and for Voices of Uganda. She also is co-producer for the documentary film Whaledreamers and executive producer for the upcoming documentary film Voices of Uganda. Cindy lives in Malibu with her two children, nine dogs, two horses, and two parrots. When not working on her own projects, she likes to adventure travel, practice yoga, and run. |
