What: Nutrition in Clinical Practice

Jointly Sponsored by: The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and The George Washington University Medical Center

Purpose: Many studies have demonstrated the role of diet in the prevention and management of chronic diseases, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, lipid disorders, and certain types of cancer. This seminar will focus on the most recent evidence that links nutrition to disease prevention and health promotion. Participants will gain knowledge about how to incorporate nutrition and dietary interventions into everyday clinical practice.
