Noah Wyle
Noah Wyle recently completed a decade of award-winning work in his
role as Dr. John Carter on ER, television’s most dominating
drama over the past ten seasons. Its only original cast member since
the show debuted in 1994, Wyle has been recognized with five Emmy and
three Golden Globe nominations.
Wyle most recently starred as Flynn Carson in cable’s top rated
original film for 2004, The Librarian: Quest for the Spear,
which aired on TNT. His other work has included a critically acclaimed
turn as Steve Jobs in the Emmy nominated Pirates of Silicon Valley
for TNT. He has also appeared in several feature films, including Warner
Bros.’ White Oleander, Columbia Pictures’ Enough,
the independent feature Donnie Darko, Swing Kids, and A
Few Good Men. He also starred in and associate produced The
Myth of Fingerprints.
Noah is involved in numerous issue-oriented initiatives including serving
as national spokesperson for “Cover the Uninsured Week,”
an unprecedented effort to bring awareness to the 44 million Americans
who have no health coverage. His other philanthropic involvement includes
work with Doctors of the World, Human Rights Watch, and Best Friends
Animal Sanctuary. Noah is also very involved and devoted to the theater
and serves as creative producer of the award winning Blank Theatre Company.
Wyle lives in southern California with his wife Tracy and their young
son.
