The Physicians Committee

Physicians Resources

More and more physicians are eager to make nutrition a central part of their practices, and the Physicians Committee is here to help you do that. First, we’ll get you up to speed with our simple and concise Continuing Medical Education. Then, we’ll help you explore nutrition’s role in everything from acne to varicose veins, through NutritionMD. And finally, we’ll give you everything you need to help your patients improve their diets: posters, books, simple handouts, DVDs, and even a curriculum that you, a colleague, or one of our instructors can use in group sessions right in your office. Browse through the options below. Your patients will love you for it. Contact the Physicians Committee >

Physician Profile

"As a physician with a few decades of practicing medicine under my belt, I never thought it would happen to me.”

Neil Cooper, M.D.

At age 56, Dr. Cooper was in reasonably good physical shape. But when struck with chest pain, within a few hours he was on the operating table with a stent in his artery. He credits the Physicians Committee with helping him turn a crisis into a success story that guides his friends, colleagues, and patients toward more healthful lives. Learn more about Dr. Cooper >
