Dear Food for Life supporter,
"I have been to many trainings, but this was by far the best yet. I am so excited to get out there and join the movement!" -Kelly H., Food for Life Instructor, Training Class of November 2011
Don't miss out on your chance to join the movement to help save lives! The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) is holding its Spring 2012 Food for Life new instructor training on Wednesday, May 9, through Friday, May 11, in Washington, D.C. Attending the training will offer an opportunity for dietitians and nurses to earn continuing education credits and others passionate about food as medicine to become certified to teach the award-winning Food for Life program.
Since 2001, the Food for Life nutrition and cooking classes have combined community-based nutrition education with live cooking demonstrations to translate complex scientific health and nutrition research into practical health information and easy meals. The classes have helped cancer survivors, those living with diabetes, and children unlock the power of plant-based nutrition for optimal health.
If you have a passion for plant-based nutrition for health and wellness, enjoy giving public presentations, and have an entrepreneurial mind with a knack for being organized, consider applying to become part of the Food for Life team. The training application deadline is Friday, February 10. Don't wait, apply today!
