Seeking Nutrition Volunteer — Summer 2008
PCRM’s Nutrition Department is seeking a volunteer to work with the dietitians and the Communications Department on PCRM’s annual Airport Food Review, which rates numerous airports’ vegetarian food options. The report garners substantial media attention from all over the country.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills for gathering information (mainly via phone)
- Organizational abilities for inputting and retrieving large amounts of food data
- An understanding of vegan/vegetarian diets
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel
- Ability to volunteer at PCRM’s headquarters in Washington, D.C. (Friendship Heights neighborhood/metro) approximately 30 hours per week for approximately one month between mid-June and mid-July
